Please read the Terms carefully before you start to use My Account online application.
1. Newark and Sherwood District Council grant you licence to use the website for the purposes of reviewing or amending your personal information, such as address and contact details. We also grant you access to view your rent account details and submit and view any responsive property repair work.
2. Newark and Sherwood District Council may change the terms of use without notice at any time without warning.
3. Accessing and using My Account application is free of charge and can be used and accessed from anywhere there is an internet enabled device, such as a personal computer, tablet or mobile device.
4. Grant and scope of licence, In consideration of you agreeing to abide by the Terms, we grant you a non-transferable access to your personal account.
5. The licence restrictions are things you should not do such as copy the application, not to rent, lease, sub-licence, loan, translate, merge, adapt, reverse engineer, vary or modify My Account online application.
6. You use the do not do anything illegal with the My Account application in accordance with the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

Your personal details, account and password

7. You are responsible for ensuring that your personal details are accurate and up to date. We may include details that we already hold about you, please check that these are correct. Please tell us or immediately correct any inaccurate information we hold about you.
8. If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your username and password, you must change it immediately, if possible, and promptly notify us by contacting us on 0845 258 5550.

Intellectual Property Rights

9. You acknowledge that we are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the My Account online application. The application software copyright is held by HeX Productions of 20-20a Westminster Buildings, Theatre Square, Nottingham, NG1 6LG Company number: 09495479. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. You acknowledge that rights in the My Account online application are licensed not sold to you and that you have no rights to My NSH other than in accordance with these Terms.

Termination

10. We may terminate our agreement under these Terms immediately if you breach (and fail to remedy when asked) these Terms or breach any of the provisions of Paragraphs 4, 5 and 6 above.

Applicable law

11. These Terms, their subject matter and its formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

Other important terms

12. Each of the provisions in these Terms operates separately and if any Court or competent authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
13. If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations.
