You may apply for housing but a guarantor will be required before a property is allocated. A guarantor is a person over the age of 18 who is willing to support you and ultimately be responsible for any breaches of tenancy including rent arrears.

Have you or the joint applicant lived in the Newark and Sherwood District for 3 out of the last 5 years ?

Has a close member of your family or the joint applicants family lived in the Newark and Sherwood District for 5 or more consecutive years ? Close family includes but are not limited to parents, grandparents, adult child/ren (18+), aunts, uncles or any other evidenced close family member.
